📰 What Is the Google Discover Mode on Wisewand?
Wisewand’s Google Discover mode allows you to create articles specifically optimized to appear in the Google Discover feed. These articles are designed to capture readers’ attention with rich visuals, engaging formats, and a structure tailored to Google’s requirements.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to configure and launch a Discover article from A to Z — including the brief, outline, visual options, and publishing.
🧩 Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
Your article topic (or a list of topics if you want to generate several)
Your audience’s target country and language
The persona you want to use
Enough credits: 0.5 credit without images, 1.5 credits with images
⚙️ Step 1: Configure your Discover article
From your Wisewand dashboard, open Discover mode.
Enter your topic in the dedicated field. 💡 If you want to generate multiple articles at once, enter each topic on a new line or import a CSV or Excel file.
Select the language and target country. For example, you can write in English targeting Canada instead of the US if your audience is Canadian — content can differ depending on location.
Choose your persona and automatic length.
Select the project linked to the article.
🔎 Step 2: Add a source (optional)
You can provide a source URL to guide Wisewand’s research.
If you add a URL without enabling restriction, Wisewand will use it as a starting point but also enrich the content using additional Google sources.
If you enable restriction, Wisewand will only use information from that URL.
⚠️ Note: If you don’t add a source, Wisewand will perform its own research automatically.
🏷️ Step 3: Manage the title
You have two title options:
Keep entered title — Wisewand uses your exact title.
Let Wisewand optimize it — Wisewand may rewrite it to make it more impactful and Discover-friendly.
📝 Step 4: Fill the brief (optional but recommended)
The brief helps Wisewand understand exactly what you want to cover. You can auto-generate a brief with one click, then customize it.
➡️ Add information that must be included (e.g., “Include details about nettles”).
➡️ Add information to avoid (e.g., “Do not mention nettles”).
💡 Tip: If you’re in a hurry, skip this step — Wisewand will generate it automatically when you launch.
🧱 Step 5: Validate the article outline (optional)
As with the brief, you can generate an automatic outline to preview the structure before writing.
Add or remove H2 and H3 sections as needed.
Reorganize sections via drag and drop.
📌 If you don’t fill the outline manually, Wisewand will build it automatically during generation. This step is only useful if you want full control over structure beforehand.

Wisewand offers several options to visually and interactively enhance your Discover article:

📤 Step 7: Configure publishing
Before launching generation, choose how you want the article published:
Direct publishing — published immediately on your site.
Scheduled publishing — choose a date and time.
Draft — saved without publishing for review.
💡 If you don’t want automatic publishing, simply leave publishing unchecked.
🚀 Step 8: Launch generation
Once everything is configured, click Launch. Wisewand will:
Generate the brief and outline if you didn’t fill them manually.
Write the full article following your instructions.
Insert selected visual and interactive elements.
Apply rich formatting to maximize engagement.
