🎯 Why create a project on Wisewand?

On Wisewand, a project groups all content related to a single website. It allows you to define your writing preferences, persona, language, and publishing options once — without having to reconfigure them for every new piece of content.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to create a project from start to finish and configure it to perfectly match your needs.

➕ Step 1: Create the project

From the Wisewand interface:

  • Click Project in the top left corner

  • Click Add project

  • Enter a name for your project (e.g., Impact TM)

  • Enter your website URL including https:// (e.g., https://impacttm.com)

  • Write your project brief in the dedicated field

  • Click Save

💡 The project brief is extremely powerful: any instructions you add here automatically apply to all content created within the project.

Use it to define editorial rules.

📝 Step 2: Write an effective project brief

The project brief lets you set global instructions applied to every generated article. Examples of useful instructions:

  • Author identity (e.g., “The writer’s name is Jérôme”)

  • Preferred tone (formal or informal address)

  • Brands or topics to never mention

  • Any additional editorial constraints

📌 The project brief complements your persona — it doesn’t replace it.

⚙️ Step 3: Configure the project

Once created, open the project settings (edit icon) to define default parameters for all content.

🎭 Persona and language

  • Assign a persona from the list

  • Choose the writing language

  • Specify the target country if relevant

📏 Content length

You can:

  • Leave length on Automatic — Wisewand determines optimal length

  • Set a fixed length for all project content

✅ Recommended: keep Automatic for natural results.

🧱 Content options

Preselect elements you want automatically included:

  • “In brief” summary box

  • Table of contents

  • Information tables

  • Bullet lists

  • External sources toggle

  • Cover image

  • Images inside content

  • Automatic internal linking

  • Bold text

  • Quotes

  • Rich formatting

  • Interactive widgets

⚠️ Only enable what you actually need. Overloaded content can reduce readability.

🔌 Step 4: Connect WordPress and set publishing settings

If your site runs on WordPress:

  • Select your already connected WordPress site

  • Choose a category (or leave automatic)

  • Select the author name displayed on articles

  • Click Confirm

💡 If you use AI content generation, choose an author identity you’re comfortable taking editorial responsibility for.

🎨 Step 5: Customize your brand styling

You can also add your brand colors to the project:

  • Primary color

  • Secondary color

These colors will be used in generated content layouts.
Click Save once finished.

📌 Summary

Here are the key steps to create and configure a project on Wisewand:

  1. Create the project with a name and URL

  2. Write a project brief with editorial rules

  3. Assign persona, language, and country

  4. Set content length and default options
