🚀 Creating high-performing SEO content on Wisewand is much more than just pressing a button.

By properly configuring your brief, persona, and sources, you can generate unique, well-structured articles perfectly adapted to your site. Here’s how to do it.

🧩 Before you start

To get the most out of Wisewand, make sure you have:

  • A project configured with your site information (URL, theme, preferences). This will save you valuable time with every generation.

  • A defined persona. Never leave it in automatic mode — it’s what gives your articles a unique and recognizable style. Check the dedicated guide on the Wisewand YouTube channel to learn how to create a strong persona.

🔎 Step 1: Enter your keyword or title

In the left menu, click Articles, then enter your main keyword in the designated field.

💡 If you already have an SEO-optimized title, enter it directly and check Keep title so Wisewand uses it exactly as is.

If you only enter a keyword, Wisewand will automatically choose the best title for your content.

🌍 Step 2: Choose language and country

Select the writing language and target country.

Wisewand supports many languages and regional variations (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, Morocco, etc.). Adjust this setting to match your real audience.

👤 Step 3: Select your project and persona

Choose the project corresponding to your site.

  1. A properly configured project automatically applies your preferences (tone, style, publishing, etc.).

  2. Select your persona. This is the most important element for obtaining distinctive, high-quality content. Never leave it on automatic.

📏 Step 4: Define article length

You can leave length on automatic — Wisewand will determine the ideal word count based on the topic and competition.

If you have a specific goal (for example, matching a competitor’s article length), lock the length and enter the desired word count.

🔗 Step 5: Add and restrict your sources

To guide Wisewand toward quality sources, you have two approaches:

📌 Restricted single source:
Paste the URL of a reference article into the Sources field, then check Restrict source. Wisewand will rely exclusively on that article to structure the content.

⚠️ This does not mean the article will be copied or plagiarized — Wisewand always produces original and unique content.

🌐 Multiple open sources:
Add several quality URLs (for example, top 10 Google results) without restricting. Wisewand will use them as references while freely exploring the SERP to build the best possible article.

Recommendation: if you find a competitor article that is particularly well structured, restricting to that single source is an excellent strategy.

🎯 Step 6: Configure parameters and search intent

In the Parameters section, you’ll find target queries and the search intent response. You can:

  • Click Fill automatically to let Wisewand analyze the topic and complete these fields.

  • Write the search intent yourself if you know your niche well — this is even more effective for precisely targeting what Google and your readers expect.

Wisewand also automatically identifies:

  • Subtopics

  • Content opportunities

  • Audience questions

  • Related themes

You can modify these and add information to avoid if needed.

🧱 Step 7: Use Plan mode

Plan mode lets you preview and customize your article’s full structure before generation.

You can:

  • Review automatically suggested H2 and H3 headings

  • Modify, add, or remove sections

  • Adjust section length for precise control

  • Enable Automatic length to let Wisewand distribute words optimally

💡 If your SEO team already prepares outlines, you can import them directly into Wisewand for perfect consistency.

⚙️ Step 8: Configure options and publishing

In the Options tab, you can enable:

  • Audio generation for the article

  • Rich formatting (widgets, quotes, etc.)

In the Publishing tab, configure your article destination. If your project is properly set up, Wisewand can publish directly to WordPress or save as a draft according to your preferences.

🧾 Step 9: Generate the article and review the result

Once everything is configured, launch generation. Creating an article takes about 8 minutes. After generation, you’ll get:

  • An In brief box at the beginning

  • A structured outline with integrated images

  • Internal links naturally inserted into the content

⚠️ Always take time to review the generated article before publishing. Check that:

  • Information is accurate

  • Tone matches your persona

  • Everything is ready for publication

🔗 Add custom links inside content

You can manually insert links into your article by specifying:

  • The anchor text (clickable text)

  • The destination URL

Wisewand will integrate the link naturally into the generated content.
