🚀 Publish content automatically thanks to external sources

Wisewand’s automatic mode allows you to connect external sources — YouTube channels, TikTok accounts, websites, Instagram accounts — to your existing projects.

Once configured, Wisewand monitors these sources and automatically generates relevant articles for your audience, without you having to intervene daily.

In this guide, you will learn how to:

  • Configure an external source

  • Set up content generation

  • Activate automatic publishing on your site

🧩 Before you start

Before configuring an external source, make sure you have:

  • An existing project in Wisewand (e.g.: a thematic site on which to publish)

  • A persona already created in your project

  • The URL of the external source you want to monitor (YouTube channel, TikTok account, website, etc.)

⚙️ Step 1: Access external source automation mode

  • Go to your Wisewand dashboard

  • Open the left menu

  • Click External source automation

  • Select the existing project where you want to add a new source

  • Click Configure a new source

📝 Step 2: Configure generated content

You can preconfigure several settings so that generated articles match your editorial line exactly.

🔧 Basic settings

  • Persona: choose the persona (author) who will sign the generated articles

  • Language: select the desired publication language

  • Length: choose Automatic or define a specific length

🧠 Additional information

The Additional information field is very powerful. It allows you to guide Wisewand on topics to cover or avoid.

  • Specify themes or games to cover

    • Example: “Only talk about The Division and Destiny”

  • Indicate topics to exclude

    • Example: “Avoid talking about this game or this type of content”

  • Stay broad enough in your wording to cover future releases

    • Example: “The Division” rather than only “The Division 2”

🔗 Step 3: Add your external source URL

  • Paste the URL of the source you want to monitor

    • YouTube channel

    • TikTok account

    • Website

    • Instagram account

  • Give a short and recognizable name to this source

    • Example: YouTube_CreatorName

  • In the filter field, specify if needed the type of content to retrieve

    • Example: “Retrieve only content about the game Division”

💡 You can add multiple sources to the same project:

  • YouTube channels

  • TikTok accounts

  • Websites

  • Instagram accounts

⏱️ Step 4: Define frequency and priority

  • Frequency: choose the retrieval rate

    • Example: every day

  • Limit: define the maximum number of articles generated per cycle

    • Example: 1 article per day

  • Relevance: enable Most relevant so Wisewand selects only content best suited to your theme

  • Priority: assign a priority

    • 1 = high

    • 2 = normal

This helps manage processing order when multiple sources publish content at the same time.

📰 Step 5: Configure publishing options

In the Publishing options section, customize the format of generated articles:

  • ✅ “In brief” box

  • ✅ Tables and bullet lists

  • ✅ Cover image and images in the content

  • ✅ Internal linking

  • ✅ Bold words

Then:

  • Connect the source to your site

  • Connect it to your author

  • Activate direct publishing

This allows articles to be published automatically without manual validation.

✅ Step 6: Save and activate the source

  • Click Save

  • Wait a few moments

  • The source appears in your project list once activated

📌 Once activated, the source is operational.

If no relevant content is detected during a cycle, no article is published. This is completely normal: Wisewand prioritizes quality over quantity.

📊 What it looks like in practice

Example output on a thematic site:

  • YouTube channel (Division creator) → Articles about builds and game events → Several times per week

  • French website (Warframe) → News articles about the game → According to site publications

  • YouTube channel (Destiny creator) → Articles about updates and guides → Regularly

Result: a site that publishes qualified and relevant content entirely automatically, helping grow your audience without daily effort.

💡 Best practices and tips

💡 Prioritize foreign (English-language) sources rather than French competitors.
You will be less intrusive toward your direct competitors, and the generated content will be just as relevant for your audience.

⚠️ This is not plagiarism.

Wisewand draws inspiration from the topic and some information from a video or article to create new original content intended to rank on the same subject. The original source is not copied.

✅ To maximize results:

  • Diversify your sources (YouTube + TikTok + websites + Instagram)

  • Be precise in additional information

  • Use priorities to control which sources are processed first

🧾 In summary

Wisewand’s automatic mode with external sources is a powerful tool for feeding your site with quality content continuously and without manual intervention.

By:

  • Connecting relevant sources

  • Configuring editorial settings correctly

  • Automating publication

You create a publishing system that works for you 24/7.
